Stay sober. Get back to healthy eating, exercise, quit smoking. Send cards/little gifts to my kids/mom/sister about once a month. Take better care of myself re: my nails, etc. Quit wasting so much time. Possibility of quitting Farmville – I waste way too much time on there.

8) Become the person I want to be :)
9) Feel completely okay by myself and only then think about starting a new relationship

First goal of the year is to eradicate procrastination and promote commitment to what I set out to do (or at least, try). This way I actually begin to get results, and not just a bunch of half-finished projects and ideas. This will probably also mean wasting less time on the internet, or at least on certain sites on the internet.
Second goal is to take care of my physical well-being. Work on exercising every day, and drinking more water. Next, get a healthier diet and eliminate most of the “junk” from it, as much as I can. Start flossing each day, and begin wearing my retainers regularly to keep my teeth nice and straight. Take care of my skin and hair to keep them looking and feeling healthy as well.
Third goal is to take care of my mental well-being. Learn to be positive, take time to meditate. Take time each day to have fun, whether reading or writing or drawing or whatever. Journal each day, and take time to really count my blessings.
Fourth goal is to learn new things. There is so much I want to learn, such as different languages or dance styles. As I learn not to give up on the goals I undertake, I want to begin learning new things on a regular basis but actually stick with them so I won’t be saying, “I tried learning that” but instead, “Oh, I know how to do that.” Also, taking the time to read is an important past-time I’ve lost the time for in the past few years, that I hope to make time for now.
Fifth goal, and perhaps the most important one, is to keep learning about and improving myself. Learn and work through my fears and traits I dislike about myself, and work on getting more positive traits that I would like. Keep track of all the life lessons I learn, and all the things about myself that I discover. This could potentially be included in my third goal, but I think self-introspection and growth is important enough to be its own goal. =)
My biggest goals for 2013 are something that I hadn’t really put much thought into before. In previous years I would have a list of resolutions that were broken pretty quickly afterwards. Now after this year I don’t want to tie myself down to a few things honestly to do or not do. The main thing for me is to maintain. Continue paying my bills on time. Find new ways to get out of the house more often and be social with other people. Move more, stress less. I want to stay focused at work more and not get distracted by side events or out of control circumstances. Yeah just I would say my goals for the next year would be to just continue the positive things of 2012.
For 2013, I want to be better organized, less inclined to emotions so read and do some reasearch on this subject.
I want to read more books, comics, articles…
I want to do more gardening.
I want to go more to the theatre, to museums, to concerts.
I want to be more open-minded with kids as I realized that they bring me a lot.
I want to travel more
Knowing more will enable me to be less influenced by others and this will make me grow and open the door to find back love
Achieving the highest physical and mental state attainable!

My biggest goal for 2013 is as follows:

I have assumed 100% responsibility on this although not fully my fault alone in this, as it has affected several activities which I wanted to plan for 2012 and created unnecessary stress and difficulty on my lifestyle and family and for my personal observation, a prevention can be done with proper insight and planning of contigency.

I am not 100% sure about my goals for 2013 just yet so am going to a New Yrs Eve/ New Yrs Day goal setting workshop. I am hoping to have defined a direction/purpose and have specific goals soon.
Like most people though, weight loss and management will be in there. I need to lose 20 kg but more importantly KEEP IT OFF. I have lost it many times but unfortunately it keeps finding me again!(lol)
More importantly for me will be defining my purpose in life. I am currently adrift and lost and this is not a good place to be.
Any other goals will flow out from this – giving up alcohol, looking after my health and fitness, trying to improve my relationship with my husband and kids, looking for a new job…….
I will keep you posted,
My goals for 2013:
To find a woman to build a long term relationship with.
To be more open in my communication with my friends and family.
To travel somewhere new.
To eat more vegetables.
To keep reading and learning.
