Tomorrow I’ll be attending T Harv Eker’s Never Work Again Seminar at the Singapore Expo. It’s 4 days long, from 3 June to 6 June, 2010. It’ll supposedly be teaching investment tools and how to create passive income streams so we don’t need to work to get income.
Here’s the official description of the seminar:
Are you ready to replace your working income with truly passive income? We’ve been taught to work hard for thirty to forty years in order to retire when we are 65 or older. But, what if you could become financially free in only 2 or 3 years? You would never have to work again…unless of course, you chose to.
Learn up to fifteen unique passive business opportunities and then structure them to create income without you—forever!
You will learn how ultra-wealthy, savvy investors continually net return on investments (ROI) percentages in double digits. Learn to use the power of compound interest to increase your net worth easier — and faster!
At Never Work Again, you will learn:
- Proven strategies and investment techniques to develop and increase passive income.
- Practical earning strategies that guarantee you more time and money.
- How to create businesses that work for you, rather than control you.
- Which businesses are the real cash cows.
- How to earn $20,000 to $100,000 in passive income each and every month for the rest of your life.
- A wide variety of high return, low-risk investments normally available only for sophisticated investors.
- How to gather investment contacts and find rare opportunities.
- And much more!
Plus you’ll leave with your own personal plan.
Normally I don’t attend investment-related seminars, but this time is different as one of my readers, Tatt, has a free guest ticket for the event and invited me along. And I thought, Hey, why not? This will be a perfect opportunity for me to learn about investing and possibly apply the principles to PE moving forward. In a way it’s coming at a perfect time too as I’m planning to take my personal development business to the next level in the next quarter. :)
I’ve also heard about T. Harv Eker, who is best known for his bestselling book Secrets of the Millionaire Mindset and is a popular trainer in the area of wealth generation. One of my ex-clients went to his Millionaire Mindset Intensive Seminar (3 days long) last year and had a positive experience, so I’m looking forward to learning all I can in the next 4 days.
The supposed list price for Never Work Again costs S$1,000-3,000 (US$800-2,400) depending on when and where you buy it, but thanks to Tatt, I get to attend it for free. Tatt himself paid S$1,995 for his ticket, which is about US$1,600. Thanks a lot Tatt! :D
More on Tatt — he’s from Thailand and has been a PE reader since the blog started. We met up a few months ago when he came to Singapore for a business trip (together with his good friend Arm, a PE reader as well). For this seminar, his other good friend, O (also a Thai and a PE reader) will be attending too. Both of them flew in specially from Thailand for this event. We just met up a few hours ago for dinner and had a great time hanging out. :D
Since the seminar starts from 9am to 11pm for Days 1 through 3 and ends at 7:30pm on Day 4, I don’t foresee any updates to the blog during this period. I’ll be doing a review of the seminar and sharing my lessons with you guys — it might be a daily review or a full review at the end of 4 days, depending on how it goes. :D
Continue on to Part 2: Never Work Again – Day 1 Review

Can someone give me a more detailed review of the Global Internet Seminar? I want to see if it is right for me… Thanks.
Hey Dyo, from my experience with these trainings, usually they frame something very attractively and have a low entry fee, and then subsequently pitch multiple several-thousand-dollar training packages to you. This is known as the foot-in-the-door technique: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foot-in-the-door_technique
You may also want to check out my podcast on the harsh truths of starting an online business which many internet business “coaches” gloss over or avoid mentioning in their sales calls: http://personalexcellence.co/podcast/10/ The competition in internet business is extremely stiff now and as someone in this circuit, I genuinely do think that most of the coaches/gurus in this industry make the bulk of their money “teaching” people to make money online vs. really having legit strategies that can take someone from nothing to real success online. Hope this helps!
I went to a couple of his seminars. They are extremely powerful, motivating and they DO change your mind set. I bought his Secrets of the Millionaire Mind Audio CD. Changing the way I viewed money and to KEEP that mindset was a challenge. I had to listen to the CD’s a few times a month. Harv’s absolutely correct, it’s more about forming good habits with money then it is to have money. “You won’t get anymore unless you learn to manage what you already have.” I grew my passive income account until I was able to purchase investment property. Am I a Millionaire yet? The answer is no. I would say out of everything I learned how to manage the money I have. My passive income now gives me a small amount of money each month (not enough to exceed bills) but I’ll remain optimistic as I stay on this path.
Hi Celes, I chanced upon your blog as I also attended the NWA seminar, and I was curious whether people actually blogged about it. I cannot agree more with everything you said. You are such a great writer! :) i’ll browse through your old posts :)
anyway, i was also at the global internet seminar which happened a week after NWA, and the format was almost the same as NWA, but it is more focused (focused pitching, that is,, hehe just kidding)..i honestly gained more valuable info as I am very new to internet marketing…
having said this, and after agreeing totally with your review, i still feel very grateful as these two seminars have opened doors for my “holistic growth” as well as my goal of being financially free (as with everyone else)… let me know if you do internet marketing, maybe you can share tips as well :)
Thanks guys! The Day 1 Review is up here – https://personalexcellence.co/blog/never-work-again-seminar-day-1/. Bear in mind it’s my take on the seminar – other people may have different takeaways and benefits.
Yes, Mr. Ecker is a salesman, but he is also very successful, which is why it’s worth paying attention to the high level ideas he promotes. I listened to one of his audiobooks, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, and benefited quite a bit. It helps shift your paradigms about yourself and what you can accomplish.
Wow, that’s awesome. I’m going to wait for your review.
And I really can’t believe that I’ve started to read blogs regularly. I’m glad I’ve stumbled on your blog. Your advices helped a lot. Thanks Celes! :)
I so look forward to reading your review. I’ll admit that after looking at his website, he comes across as a bit of a snake oil salesman. I always wonder why people who teach and offer seminars about passive income, or other ways of getting rich, end up selling books, seminars, workshops, etc teaching others ‘how to do it.’ Why not just practice your techniques and let the money roll in?
In the spirit of learning, developing, and being open to possibility I have to recognize this may just be my own issue- and the guy might be paving the way for millions of people to passively earn $20,000 – $100,000 per month. I hope so! Because the concept sure has appeal. :)
Look forward to your review!
This sounds like a fantastic seminar, can’t wait to hear about your learnings! Meanwhile, I’ll be checking out this guy’s books.
Hey Claire, welcome to PE! I just returned from Day 1 of the seminar, will be posting the review for Day 1 in an hour :)
