  1. The reason why perfectionists want to do everything by themselves is that they believes that no one else can do it better than them. Therefore they will not delegate to others. Even if they delegate, they may micro manage.

  2. I started out the day procrastinating. I kept thinking of you and finally got up, washed my hair, went to see a friend, did Christmas shopping, came home and vacuumed, then started cleaning out junk from under the bed. Thanks!

Aw that’s awesome. You are very welcome Susan and I’m glad that I was able to provide the needed push for you to make the best out of your day! Now you know that you have it in you to NOT procrastinate and basically do whatever you want. :D If you like, you can print out this poster on overcoming perfectionism and put it up in your room to remind yourself daily too. Many readers have been doing that for the inspirational manifestos and finding it very helpful!

  3. That’s very profound, Celestine! I particularly like the second one, somehow it stood out for me. Ideals are directions, not absolutes. Brilliant!

  4. I really have been thinking that I was the only one in the world with this problem, thank u for bringing this up.. I owe u.. I’ve been hit by realization very very hard! Ouch! :/

  5. I love these manifestos. They’re like the meat and potatoes that we sometimes need to go over to remind ourselves. Thanks for the perfectionism piece. I think it’s brought of light to what I’ve been doing and how I can actually do things inline with how things can be so much better just by checking yourself and keeping it real ;)

Aw you are welcome, Bryan. Thanks for taking time out to leave your feedback. Feel free to print it out and put it up in your room if you so wish. :D

  6. Ah Celes, thanks so much for this! This is the perfect reminder I need to have with me. =)

I especially love the tips “ideals are directions, not absolutes” and to “look at the big picture”. I think those two definitely apply to me the most! Overall, these tips are amazing! Thanks again! ^^
