Hello everyone. Since this is about living a healthy life I'll start with a physical description. I stand 4'11, 95lbs, medium built. Married with 2 beautiful daughters, 32 years old.
Although my weight can be considered within normal requirements, I have been going up and down on my weight. I weighed as low as 85lbs last year(2011) but within months I have ballooned to 100lbs. Now I make it a point to check my weight and adjust my food intake accordingly. Going to the gym has also been a part of my routine at some time. I know this is crazy but I tried to blame others why I stopped being fit. e.g. husband wasn't supportive, didn't have enough motivation, kids are priority before myself, among others. That would be the last time I would have to blame others for what's happening to me. I should take control of my life NOW.
Here's basically what I want:
1.) Set a routine exercise/regimen for physical fitness. Get on with the tae bo class again or do it at home. I have 4 dvds about taebo and pilates that I haven't played for months already.
2.) Set a basic achievable diet. Avoid white rice, white bread, cola, coffee, too much sugar, too much salt, too much fat, more protein, lesser carbs.
3.) Having a lot of spare time makes me wander around. I just stay home but other than the time spent with the kids I tend to focus more on being online which is unproductive(facebook, waiting for someone on YM to chat with). There's a lot I can do that needs attention thus I need to ditch procrastination.
4.) I hope to be more active in this activity. This would be a turning point for a new year.
