I am not new to meditation, but I AM new to establishing a consistent routine. I'm really excited about 21 days creating a habit!
(a) Why you want to cultivate meditation: I recognize that mindfulness in my own head once or twice a day will eventually carry-over into my daily life.
(b) Time of your daily meditation: mornings feel more "right," to me, I think.
(c ) Duration: depending on time-limits: 15-30 min?
(d) Type of meditation you are going to do: Is there a name for clearing your mind, and focusing on the breath? I also have some amazing guided meditations on CD I bought after a stay at Kripalu.
(e) What you wish to get out of your 21-day meditation journey: I think I'm perhaps a little TOO realistic - I don't expect bright blue lights, visions, and out of body experiences like in "Eat, Pray, Love," BUT: I wouldn't mind! Mainly, I'm hoping for a HABIT. I'm hoping that after 21 days, Meditation will be part of my morning routine - non-negotiable, mandatory, something I would no more skip each day than brushing my teeth.
