Hi, I'm Lauren. I live in Australia. I've been a reader of these challenges for a while and recently decided to do some of the old ones myself, but it would be fun and far more motivating to participate actively in a challenge with the support of everyone here!

My intentions for 21DHL challenge would be to eat healthier (teach myself not to give in to sugar cravings as much as I currently do, and drink water instead of coffee, Milo and soft drinks), exercise more (it will be tricky to motivate myself given that the news is predicting we'll be having a heat wave, with every day next week over 35 degrees Celsius!), and try different styles of exercise such as yoga (I currently take dance classes and walks), and work out ways of either coping with stress better or lessening stress, especially the stress I put on myself.

21 DHL: Day One
I had a promising start to 2012. I made sure to drink the recommended amount of water (especially with today's temperature of 41 degrees Celsius!) and met my commitment of doing 30 minutes of exercises and stretches. I steered clear of junk food, which was probably easier than usual since I often don't eat much when it's so hot outside.

Looking forward to what tomorrow's task brings!
