Thanks Glenn and Hannah. Here is a another bouncing ball. Still working on the walkcycle, I did render one out but it is all wrong, so hopefully soon.

2nd Ball, enjoy.

Hugs

Hi Kirsten, that's much better! You appear to have perfected it. Now you just need to lower the bounce height a little for each bounce.

Kristen, I dont know much about animations but I have to say, that second ball is much better! It's perfect! (but maybe my untrained eye in bouncing balls is fooling me? haha)

That is quite an improvement, Kirsten, even to my untrained eye! Glenn's idea does sound quite plausible for extended practice if you do not know already what to work on next. I would also like to see more of your work, perhaps a redo of the other one you were working on.

I love the second ball - it's very realistic :)

Oh, guys thank you so much for the comments on my bouncing ball. I will be working on it more today. Suggestion on what to do next will be welcoming.

It can only get better from here.

Get update.

Here is a link to my Walkcycle on youtube.

What do you think. I am now going to bravely start a thread on 11second club forum, a little nervous about this one but I think it maybe time to start getting critque from other animators.

Wish me luck.

Awesome work, Kirsten! :clap::clap:

Yes, good idea going to a forum dedicated to animation to get feedback. We love supporting you here but you will definitely get more helpful feedback if you go to a site dedicated to animation.

Yay I love this little man! :) I think it's a serious step forward from the bouncing ball (I don't mean the ball was bad, but the man is awesome!)

Kristen that walking man is so cute!! :)
I like your idea of getting critique from other animators, I think that will help you out alot to get some professional advice. But to me I think it looks great :D

Thanks, Hannah. I had fun doing it. At the moment I am animating a mermaid for a game the company I am working for is making. The mermaid is quite a challenge as there is not much in reference for this type of character, but it is fun.

Very nice, Kirsten! I liked your walking man very much, but I agree that other animators would be able to point out more helpful hints than we do here. But don't stop posting your stuff for us to gush over here either!

I didn't even realize that I have been away from this forum for some time. Life has been busy for me, I have been concentrating on my relationship with my boyfriend and my animation skills both are slow going but going well. I do have to admit I don't have much to say these days but I will be joining with the August challenge. I will add link in my signature to my youtube channel, if anyone is interested in having a look at my animation.

Well off for now, will most likely be back when the challenge starts.

Hugs to all.

I hope this is okay

I love your new forum picture. It's so vibrant and full of life!

I am glad you are back but we understand how sometimes living your life is more important than telling us all how it is going. I can't wait for the August challenge myself. It should be good fun.
