I am always interested in personal development and have been reading lots of 'self-help' books. I want to try something different, something new and this "21-day Meditation challenge" has attracted me. Thanks for this initiative and I hope myself and everyone finds the benefits.

By the way, I am new to the concept of meditation but am learning how to meditate through my recent Yoga practice. Doing the "Om....." probably a good start?!

And yes, I did attend my 60mins Yoga class with the "additional" perspective today (originally I would like to skip today to have a rest after the weekday practices for the past week) but I changed my mind and joined today's class - as my first day of the 21-day meditation challenge. I paid much more attention to the Om before and after the class, and while I was doing the practice. I feel very peaceful, and even took the courage to join the teacher and some unkwown classmates to have a causal tea chat after the class (normally I would avoid social gathering with "unfamilar" people). I have stretched my comfort zone a bit today and feels OK.

As for my 'meditation plan", I gave it a bit of thought:
(a) Why you want to cultivate meditation
- Hope to increase my self-awareness (find my “Inner” or “True” Self)
- To be more engaged with the Present moment (instead of worrying most of the time)
- To enjoy and embrace life more
(b) Time of your daily meditation
- During my Yoga class after a day’s work on weekdays, and in the afternoon on the weekends
© Duration
- 60 to 75 mins
(d) Type of meditation you are going to do
- “Moving Meditation” through my Yoga Practice
(e) What you wish to get out of your 21-day meditation journey
- I wish to see myself improving on the benefits (a) above.

Wink
Wish all of you are doing well.

I did have some good meditation by chanting Om ... as well as through the Anusara Yoga invocation on Sunday (my Day 2 challenge) but I was too busy to record this here (so now try to catch up).

I haven't yet started my Day 3 meditation yet and I will try one later before I sleep. At the moment, I feel myself too "active" using the brain working and not ready t give it a go yet (an excuse ... ).

Will get back tomorrow to report how things go. Best wishes!

Unfortunately I did not have meditation yesterday (due to tiredness).

But I did have a full 60 mins Yoga class with meditation today - I feel good.

Keep up the good work! I know how you feel, the other day I tried to meditate before bed and I was so tired I gave up after 5 minutes. It´s so cool that you go to yoga class. My dad used to relax doing th "Om" thing, and my mom and I would laugh at him because we could hear him from anywhere in the house. But it really helped him, and now I wish I would have done it with him.
Hope you have a great day and enjoy your meditation ;)
