I can't seem to think of it. Could it be from lack of experience? I'm only 15:o, But I'd still think I'd be able to find one, can anyone help..?

Hi Fynis!

What are you most passionate about in life? Is it fashion? Is it helping others achieve success? ext?
Other things that you can ask yourself are : what are you best at?
Once you can answer these questions i think you will be closer to finding your purpose:)

I don't really know what i'm most passionate about:o. I'm best at learning, and I keep getting snagged on the idea of love, is it probably related to that?

You mean you like the idea of love or falling in love...?
Honestly, at 15 I had no idea what my purpose was. I discovered it when I was 20, and I would have never guessed at 15 what it was that i wanted to do.

I don't think she is saying that you have to wait, but definitely that you need to go out and get interested in a lot of things and see what pulls at your mind and thoughts. That is where you will find your purpose. So make use of your time to get into things that you've only thought about and see if that opens up paths to you. Besides, much of regret is usually based on stuff you didn't get to do, rather than the things you do. So it should be lots of fun in the meantime!

How about volunteering somewhere? Trying a new sport? Reading a new book? Joining a club you normally wouldn't at school? Saving up to go abroad to study?

Hi Chris, I wouldn't get too hung up on love. Of course you're at that age where these feelings become stronger, but there is so much more you could be doing. I suggest doing Celes' 31DLBL in July. That should get you o your way.

In regards to finding what you're interested in, think of how you spend your free time and what you enjoy doing. If you ike music, why not do something there? Like movies? Make your own! I remember when I was 15, they had a career advisor at school who would help you decide what career to take. I never liked the sound of that, so left school and got myself a job. The plan was to work until I was ready to do my own thing. I'll admit I was there way too long, but here I am now many years later working for myself making music videos while most other people I know my age are still working at companies for a boss where they could easily lose their job at anytime.

So whatever you do, make it a goal to be your own boss.

A lot of folks in my age group 40s-50s don't even know what their life purpose is. This is something that you really have to dig deep and it can take some time. See what you liked doing from childhood all the way to today. See if there are any patterns. They may give you some hints.

I agree with glenn... at 15 you shouldn't be so worried about finding love. You'll find one soon enough (probably in your 20s or so)... but what is the rush now?! you will have YEARS of being in a relationship ahead of you. why not enjoy being single right now and discovering yourself?

Hi Fynis. I'm 22 and I'm also trying to discover my purpose (congrats on thinking about it so early). I'm assuming you created this tread after reading the "Discover Your Purpose in the Next 30 Minutes" article. If you're drawing a blank, don't get discouraged. Bear in mind that this is simply one technique (certainly a very powerful one), so if it doesn't work for you, perhaps consider trying others.

Also, using the framework of this article, Celestine mentions a couple of factors that may affect your level of success. Letter A is "Your Breadth and Depth of Life Experiences Up Till This Point." At the age of 15, maybe your mental energy would be better spent creating new and interesting life experiences, which could later inform your life purpose. This is just food for thought as the choice is ultimately yours. If you feel that now is the time to define you're life purpose, then you're probably right.

This leads me in to my own question. Celestine mentions that your success with the technique also depends on your consciousness level. I think this may be what is limiting me, so I read the 17 levels of consciousness article and placed myself in the "fear" category. Even though I understand that "If you have a warped understanding of reality, you will have a warped purpose," I crave a life purpose nonetheless. I will try some of the techniques for increasing consciousness from the blog, but in the meantime, what do you guys think of creating an "interim life purpose" until I am qualified/ready to discover my real one? Now that I think of it, this may work for you too, fynis. Just an idea. Thoughts?

Nobody is in a position to suggest passions to you as you will have to discover them on your own. Think of past experiences - what have you liked since childhood? Watch for any patterns as they may give you clues.

I'm definitely with you on this one Sifp. In fact, all our life purposes can be considered interim purposes, since our life purpose isn't supposed to be 100% fixed - it should be allowed to change and evolve through time. My life purpose has pretty much been directionally fixed since I discovered it 5 years ago, but I tweak it a bit every 2-3 years. I don't foresee any changes to it for the next say, 3-5 years, but that's not to say that it may change one day due to new revelations and insights.
