Hey Celes!! What´s up!

Everything´s going just fine, acctually I´m setting up my meal plan for next week I highly recommend using caloriecount.com.It´s really helpful and you can set you breakfast, lunch, dinnner, etc with all the calories, fats, vitamins, etc etc, etc...Is just awesome.

Exercise wise, I´ve been going to ashtanga vynasa yoga and lifting weights, so I´ll be surfing again in the next months so cool!

Cheers to everyone and thanks Celes for asking!!! you´re great!

=)

Hey Francisco! Thanks for sharing the caloriecount.com link. I'm sure a lot of users can benefit from it. I've been using an app called Loseit! on my ipod that has similar functions.

I've never tried yoga but I have heard many many people exclaim how they love it. What exactly are the benefits of yoga?

Hey my men,

I´ll check that app also, is nice to have it all organized
in just one place.

Do the Yoga bro, is awesome. There´s all kinds of schools
of knowledge about it, you can google it, but I prefer
Ashtanga ´cause is like a combination of all of them
, so I´ll tell you the benefits og it. Is focused in 2 things:

- Breathing (very important for energy an cleaning your lungs)
- Body postures (asanas, work muscules you didn´t even know they exists)

Among the 1.000.0000.0000.0000.0000 benefits I´ll name a few:

- Fat burning (you swet a lot since is a continuos moving type, so drink waterbefore and after)
- Fit your body (you tend to really mark your muscules)
- Awareness (you get to fell your body and how it works, you can
listen to itm so you don´t owerwork)
- Flexibility (since you strech a lot during the exercise your body
gets more ductil)
- my yoga teacher said that she grew up 5 cms (1,5 inch I think) in height.
- You get a very simetric and elegant body, you know.
- Start the day with energy and not sore for the lift weight or tired on the jogging.

Try it and tell me if it work out for you

See ya!

Your yoga teacher grew 5 cm? Was she already an adult when she started? I think people's bones keep growing until they reach age 25.

ahahhahahahahaha yeah men, she´s like 29 years old maybe and started about 10 years ago....well you can belive it or not, it´s cool...

I personally belive that we have no physical, emotional o thinking limits, don´t wanna get to whoo whoo corny about it  but human beings only use a small % of the total functionalities (pardon my english, don´t know if that word exists, but it sounded good in my head ) and we have created a lot of cool things.... imagine if we starte weaking up other parts of us...maybe we could grow bigger, cure ourselves or talk to each others without saying words (well that last thing in pretty whoo whoo  ehehehehheheheheeh)

See ya!

I see your point. We do often accept certain facts we hear without ever questioning them or considering we could possibly prove them wrong. Anything is possible.

I think the word your were trying to think of is "potential" instead of "functionalities". But I still understand what you mean. Don't worry though. I was born and raised in the US, I speak only English, and I misspell, misuse, and make up words all the time :P

Yeah, that's true about yoga increasing your height! I've read about a couple of women who have increased their height from doing yoga for a number of years.

Hi Francisco,
Hope you are doing well. I don't get on here a lot but do try to check in with everyone when I am here.

How are you doing with you 21 day challenge?

I see you mentioned you like Yoga, I do too. I mostly do restorative yoga but I think it's beneficial for you in so many ways. For me, one of the greatest benefits is a sense of calm after; makes me peaceful for the whole rest of the day. I am left with a feeling of pure bliss.

Best wishes for coontinued success on your challenge.

Hey Girlonthego!

Yeah, Yoga is great I went to class today at 7 AM and you really get the feeling of energy for the entire day tou know, is awesome...besides today I made an impossible posture called chakrassa (or somthing like that...I like to make up words jojojoojo) so that make me feel really good...so totally recommended.
Another Tip:

"Create a Morninng Ritual" a very specific one, I mean a step by step activitie that you do first time in the morning when you wake up...I tell you what´s mine:

- Drink 0,5 lts of water.
- Clean my body (internal things you know, number 1 and 2 ;)
- Brush my teeth.
- Breath steam (to clean my nose holes)
- Meditate.
- Exercise.
- Eat a healthy meal.
- Take a bath.

Wake up early though, so you start the day takeing good care of your self first, and then to the world.

You're right Yoga does leave me with a feeling of energy too. It's funny, I said it leaves me feeling calm but perhaps what is left is the magic potion of where energy and calm come together in harmony.

Love your idea of a morning ritual and I think I will sit down this weekend and make my own morning ritual of six or more items.

Hope you are doing SUPER!
