My general goals are to eat nutritional whole foods, lots of vegetables & more fruits. Stay away from hydrogenated fats. Also aerobic exercise at least 3 times a week filled in with walking, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Drink lots of water. In concentrating on diet and exercise, goal is to better control energy levels and keep ahead of my sinus/allergy symptoms so I can achieve more, have continuous energy and better concentration.

Day 1 took dogs on a long walk, drank lots of water, ate less than I have for all of December! In all, it was a good day. Just need to fit in the aerobic workouts at least 3 times a week.

Day 2 took dogs for a walk, the workout was getting all the decorations organized and put in the attic and cleaning the house. Still eating well in smaller portions and also staying away from hydrogenated fats including my beloved powdered creamer for my coffee! Also good on the water drinking.

Day 10:
Ok, Not too consistent with my entries. I have been relatively good at tracking my food, drink, exercise, etc on an Excel doc that I created. I hope to contue that tracking throughout the year. I am realizing how important it is to share, to write down and to be aware of the loopholes and how to carefully think ahead so as to not have life get in the way of making sure I follow my preferred diet & fit in that exercise time in spite of those things that invariably crop up that cause me to not quite get to my exercise class.
--Failed miserably Saturday at my striving to stay away from more than one sugary, small treat a day. Went to a potluck that had all my favorite baked sweets. I knew I would have more that day, but I gorged myself! just another reminder to be firm with myself and stay on track.
-- Water intake has been great and I have had only on the weekend, my diet soda.
