Single, and happy with that, it was part of changing my life, living it better and becoming happier than being stuck in a comfortable but unhappy marriage.

Single, but in love with a man I think I can't have.. Hope to fall out of love soon.
Although I am not happy with this situation I have to admit it is a source of energy and inspiration :)
(I just try to think positively) :D :)

The time to be happy is now!
The place to be happy is here!
The way to be happy is to make others so.

Single and loving it! I was with my high school sweetheart for 18 years and have spent the last few years "finding" myself as I was part of a couple for more than half of my life when we split. On my constant quest for personal growth (thank goodness for the internet!) I stumbled across PE and have been a regular reader since. Thank you, Celes!

Single but indifferent. Wouldn't mind finding someone but it'll happen when it happens. ^_^

Single and hoping that will change in 2011 once I'm done with my graduate degree. However, I do enjoy the freedom of never having to compromise ;)

Single and happy about it!

I love the article, "Are You Looking For A Relationship To Complete Yourself?" because it is just so true.
I think the greatest love is the love for ourselves. When we understand and accept ourselves better, soon enough love will comes along.

Single here, and for forever more! Well, that's assuming I keep doing the polyamory thing. I just made the shift and it's rather interesting thus far.

My super awesome personal development website. :D

I'm single since birth and I'm planning on staying that way until I finish my college degree. Despite it, I'm happy with my life right now. :D;)

There can be no happiness if the things we believe in are different from the things we do.

I'm single and I've made peace with it and am encouraging others to be happy about it, too. I've been writing articles on being single for about a year now. It's my own form of therapy and a way to reach out to other singles who may not realize how great it can be.

Feel free to read some of my articles: http://www.examiner.com/single-women-in-...ina-brandt

Happily married to hubby no. 2 who has brought so much joy to my life it is hard to describe.

Was married for 23 years to the wrong person, but finally got the courage to end it. Mind you, I have 3 great children from that marriage, so there were some good things and some good times. But not enough to carry me on for the future.

Good luck to all the singles out there.

Wendy

Attached for nearly 3 years now. :what:

Still in a state of disbelief!

I try really hard not to fail. Sometimes this is unavoidable. If I do fail, at least I will learn something useful.

If I was on my own I would just go there. Although as a whole, it's generally been quite easy adapting to the lack of freedom :) Plus it's probably made me a lot more mature and patient than I was before.
LoL as a wife (not Glenn's of course, but it's the view from the other side anyway) I can say what's changed: I started complaining and grumbling more :) Because there's always a listener by my side:) But thank Goodness I understand that he's still a free person, not a prisoner and he's free to decide what to do and where to go. I know it's hard to adapt to someone next to you, but I guess this is what the relationship is about: you don't change, but you show the other person that you appreciate their feelings.
