Happy New Year Everyone!

My plan for the next 21 days are as follows:

*Workout on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. 4 days per week.

*Drink MORE water and LESS carbonated beverages. Treat myself to one carbonated beverage per week.

*Minimize fast food to once per week - one cheat day.

*When eating out with co-workers, only choose healthy options. Skip the chips!

*Reduce overtime at work and find ways to improve my personal life.

*I suffer from depression and will finally look into therapy to sort it out :).

Melissa -- best of luck and kudos to you for tackling all of that. Maybe the therapy should take a top priority? I also have a challenge going out with coworkers a lot -- especially at lunch and it is so easy to say, oh yeah, just this once I'll get that burger....chips/fries are also a weakness.

Best of luck to you! From my own experience...therapy has helped me sooo much. I definitely recommend it to anyone!!

Thanks for your responses! I will definitely try harder to find the right therapist and make it a priority! I know that everything else will be much easier once I do.

I wish you lots of good luck with everything that you plan for this challenge and I admire you so much for deciding to go to a therapist! :heart:

I hope you won`t mind if I`m sharing this with you.. There were 2 times in my life when I suffered from depression and I didn`t tell anybody about it (even if my family noticed it, they had no idea what was happening with me) - I know now that this was a big mistake, but I didn`t know then and I was also too young for affording to go to a therapist.
After many bad days and weeks, in my case the healing came without knowing from walking and spending hours in nature.. I still remember how one day while I was walking through a beautiful forest the grey curtain from my mind faded away and I began to see again the colors and the beauty of the world around me.
I wish from all my heart to you to overcome depression as well someday soon and to have a lot of energy in your life, as you dream.. :heart:
