Cultivate the habit to sleep at 8:15PM(can be up to 10:15PM) and wake up at 4:25AM by July 15


Today's Status: (As of July 9)
- I am at 57% with this goal

Ideal Status:
- Sleeping at 8:15PM(-10:15PM) and waking up at 4:25AM everyday


Why I want to achieve this goal?
• to have a headstart in the morning
• to develop this first habit of my planned series of positive lifestyle changes
• to have a healthy sleep
• to see for myself if I can cultivate a habit for 21 days

How will I feel if I achieve this goal?
• sense of accomplishment and achievement
• satisfaction
• proud of myself


Obstacles
- Surfing the net past sleep time - Finish online activities around 8:10PM
- Forgetting to set an alarm - Before sleeping, check if alarm is activated
- Sleeping again after alarm rings - Get off the bed as soon the alarm rings
- Overeating before sleeping - Eat the right amount or less than usual
- Dinner near sleeping time - Eat dinner 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. before sleeping


Plan
• track my progress for 21 days
• create accountability to others by posting my progress in the Personal Excellence forums

Milestones
July 1 - end of 1st wk (x)
July 8 - end of 2nd wk (x)
July 15 - end of 3rd wk & 21 days

21 Days: Day 7 (finished 1st wk)

Sleep: 10:40PM*
Wake: 5:45AM*

Conclusion for the 1st wk:
My success rate decreased because of unplanned and spontaneous events. I should take the time to decide for the good and focus for the long term.
