Hey everyone! Welcome to Day 15 of 21DMC! :D We're now in the 3rd week and last week of 21DMC!!!

How do you feel to have made it this far?? I'm so proud of all of you for sticking to your meditation schedule, or at the very least, attempting to stick to your meditation schedule, in the past 2 weeks. Remember, no matter whether or not you managed to meditate for the day, the most important thing is you keep in your heart your intention for meditating - which is to live in the moment. Don't feel frustrated and give up just because you miss 1 or 2 days, or 3 or 4 days, or 5 or 6 days - that'll be to defeat the whole purpose of meditation altogether.

As for those who have been duly following your meditation schedule, you guys have been AMAZING. I'm truly blown away by your dedication to your betterment, and am having such a blast reading your meditation updates and insights you gained for yourself.

For today's post, I'd like all of you to share your intentions for this final week of 21DMC. What do you want to accomplish in this last week? What is your ideal meditation schedule/plan? How long do you want to meditate for? What would you like to experience? Share with all of us!

Group Progress Chart

Here's a round-up on everyone's progress for Group 2:

I'd like to take the time to give huge kudos to: AH888, Apu, Atira, Bob, elezhara, fufu, ilianaki94, Ish, irvine, Leah, Luis_magalhaes, niem, nrwilson, Praying Mantis, Saf, serenity89, Vellata and zoom6628 for sticking to your meditation plan every day. It's not easy to follow through on one habit continuously for 7 days, and the fact you did that says a lot about your character and your commitment to this habit. So congratulations to all of you - I'm so proud of you. At the same time, I'm also very proud of the rest of you who took the time to meditate and fall in here to report your progress during Week 2. The fact that you meditated for 1-6 days out of the week is a big step forward vs. not meditating in any days of the week, so you're already miles ahead of the people who didn't meditate at all. So be proud of yourself and what you've accomplished!

With the start of a new week, we'll be starting with a fresh chart/fresh sheet in our group progress records, just like what we did for Week 2. Let's now start Week 3 on a fresh start and commit to the last week in our 21DMC schedule as much as possible!

Once again, to be included in the chart every day, simply fall into the group meditation threads that are posted in this very forum daily.

Share Your Meditation Experience For Day 15!

  1. Were you able to complete your meditation practice today? Why/Why not?
  2. If yes, how did your meditation go? What meditation did you do? Where did you meditate? How long did you meditate for?
  3. Anything you want to share about the meditation itself?
  4. Anything you have learned for yourself today? (whether related or non-related to meditation)

Look forward to reading your updates! :D

What do you want to accomplish in this last week?

More peace of mind please :D

What is your ideal meditation schedule/plan?

I am not sure about this one, I change my mind often about a lot of things. But for now, I am planning on meditating for just six minutes a day. 3 mins in the morning and three minutes before sleeping. I might change the duration later.

What would you like to experience?

Higher state of consciousness.

What do you want to accomplish in this last week?
Well, I would like to...achieve more...more mind of peace...more calmness...etc.

What is your ideal meditation schedule/plan?
Er...I'm not sure about this question. But I'll be doing more of self-meditation than guided ones...and do it at different times of the day (split, I mean)

How long do you want to meditate for?
I'll be aiming for around 1.5h-2h because school is now more free

What would you like to experience?
What I want to accomplish (See question #1)

Anyway, I've meditated for 2h today. (I've taken a more "stable" approach, i.e. around the same time each day)

Hello guys, my blog has been launched. Hope you can pop by! Great Life Blog

Day 15: 10 minutes - Going Deep Within from the Meditation Oasis site. This is a good meditation for me - nice pacing and message was spot on. I have saved it to do again.

What do you want to accomplish in this last week?
Continue with my consistency, and deepen by adding additional time.

What is your ideal meditation schedule/plan?
It's really good for me to meditate first thing in the morning, before my day gets too busy. I have a notion that an evening meditation would also be nice, and a good way to bookmark my day.

How long do you want to meditate for?
I hope to add time until I reach 30-45 minutes daily.

What would you like to experience?
Calm, peaceful inner awareness and presence in the moment. I think that if we take that energy we spend projecting forward and backward in time, and focus it on the present, we can accomplish amazing things!

Day 15 - 20 mins
Did another guided meditation before bed, based on awareness, plus a few minutes with calming music at the end. Again started off in a nice place; I've really come to enjoy the peace and nowness of the daily meditation. However I again got a bit foggy and sleepy towards the end. I think I should get back into meditating in the morning, if my daughter will let me!!

What do you want to accomplish in this last week?
Reinforce the daily routine of meditation that I have established, and to solidify the meditations goals of mindfulness and peace.

What is your ideal meditation schedule/plan?
Daily meditation every morning for 30 mins, plus increasing awareness of meditation frame of mind throughout the day.

What would you like to experience?
Nothing monumental - just increasing mindfulness and a sense of nowness both in my meditation, and in my day to day life. I think this will feed-in to my broader goals of openness, love, and values.

Day 15 - 16 minutes just done (And just added my log for yesterdays time). Very painful knees today. This week trying to settle down to the morning sit quickly, and to have solved the physical issues of sitting. The morning sitting helps launch me into much better quality days than i was having before - its like when i leave to later in the day i feel as if something very important is not yet done. Im not seeking anything other than making this a habit - not seeking for enlightenment or an explosion of awareness. I feel that if can settle into a strong positive habit of daily meditation it will get longer and better quality.

Day 15: 41 minutes.

As far as goals go, I keep to the ones that I stated on day one. Some of them I'm now certain I will achieve, others I don't think I will, but I'll keep aiming for them anyway, I always was persistent. Or too dumb to know when to quit. One of those, anyway. :P

Day 15: Time 8 minutes
In the coming week I hope to meditate for longer periods and preferably in the morning.
I would like to experience calmness that will keep me going for the rest of the day, clarity of mind and benevolence of heart as I interact with others.

Today I did ten minutes.
As for a goal, I just wish to keep working on setting time for my meditations. Waking up earlier will do that.

Just meditated for 30 minutes today. I felt a little restless half way through but I didn't give up. I felt worried and anxious about a few things before meditation but then was much more calm after.

For this last week I want to attain greater inner peace and mental clarity through meditation. I want to process negative thoughts during meditation and be more positive. For the last part of 21DMC I will be meditating for 30 minutes each day. I will do it first thing in the morning so I don't push it off or forget about it.

Day 15, 15 minutes of self meditation.

Today I didn't even use music to help the time pass. I just sat here with myself. It seems to be getting easier and I can almost feel the space...

This week I'd like to do 15 minutes every single day.

Day 15.

I did a 7 mins yoga tonight. Just to relax and meditate at the same time.

What do you want to accomplish in this last week?

I wanted to be able continue my meditation and make this as a part of my life after the challenge.

What is your ideal meditation schedule/plan?

I meditate depending on what I feel to do. This is what I like about meditating, I am not boxed up into just one. I could either do some basic yoga, meditate using a guided meditation, or go for meditation with just a music, I could also do some coloring, or just sit and meditate on my own. I normally meditate in the evening after work, but I wanted to be able to do it every morning too, and I will make it happen. :)

How long do you want to meditate for?

I wanted to at least do some 15-20 mins each in the morning and in the evening, but for now at least between 10-30 mins will do. step by step.

What would you like to experience?

I would like to experience full freedom. I also wanted to stay focus and in its own time, benefit from meditating such as good health, good body and healthier soul.

15 minutes of guided meditation today.

In this last week,I want to see a combination of the first week's consistency combined with the increased mindfulness I felt this week. I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it and would love to see it become easier by the end of the challenge.

So far, I've mostly been doing 1-2 guided meditations after getting up. Going forward, I'd like to add a second one before going to sleep. Since I don't have a set schedule, it just seems easier to tie it to when I sleep. The benefits have been really tangible, and I could do a lot more.

Eventually, I'd like to get to at least an hour a day, and not have to rely on guided meditations every time.a

Down the road, I want to become accomplished enough at the meditation that I can use it to help me with things like health and motivation.

Day 15: about 30 minutes of meditation (half guided)

I want to try to get up earlier, and meditate before lunch hour... The thing is, that I find it difficult to go to bed early! I guess that will be the goal for this week: to get up earlier and either meditate before breakfast or later in the morning. This way it will be more of a steady habit and not here or there during the day.

Did only 9 minutes today! I would like to be able to meditate mostly in the mornings! So far, I've been meditating a lot before I go to bed. I want to try to be able to meditate first thing in the morning and just before I go to sleep.
