I've found that exercise and drinking more water go hand-in-hand. The days I don't exercise, it's harder to get in all the water. But when I exercise in the morning, I usually take in about 20 - 30 oz. just during/after my workout and then I'm way ahead for the day!

I already drink loads of cold water all day and evening (and I keep a glass on the nightstand just in case I wake up thirsty), so there was no change today!

Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

Perfect way to start for me. I have slowly reverted back to drinking softdrinks and coffee. I need to turn this back around and increase my water intake. This is challenge but I have my water bottle ready and I emptied out the left over soda pop cans from the holidays.

Happy New Year everyone :) hope the new year give us new spirit..

Drinking 2 litres or more a day is a quite an old habit for me. And fortunately, I love to drink water (pure water). I always take my first 2 glasses after waking up in the morning, and drink the last 1 glass before going to bed.

There are some times when I don't drink a lot a day, especially if i'm travelling/in a holiday that takes a long journey. But, basically, during normal days at home/work, I will reach 8 glasses easily.. :D

By the end of the day, you should have finished that whole flask. Works very well if you're home for the day :D Also not forgetting the tip I wrote in Day 1's task itself on bringing a water bottle with you and having a large mug+flask of water at your desk.

I've bought a one litre water bottle and scheduled a target for myself. After breakfast till lunch, target is to finish this one litre of water.
Post lunch till evening snacks, target is to finish another one litre of water.
From evening till i go to sleep, target is to finish another one litre of water.

Here's a good one: by drinking more each day you more often go to the bathroom to "take your water away" again. Isn't that a nice little workout as well?! :) At least it's like stretching and will make us (the ones in front of the computer most of the day) move more often...! That's a nice side effect... :-D

Cut out on all forms of Soda and concentrates last year, so this should be good.

Hi Celes & Hi all!

I just started my day 1 today. Nice to join all of you and thank you to Celes for creating this program.

Drinking water used to be the hardest thing for me to do. I hardly drank even a glass of plain water, but not to hot chocolate and any soft drinks.

However, everything has changed since I started to drink healthy shake every morning and night. 8 glasses as suggested per day is not a problem anymore, in fact I've been drinking around 8-10 ltrs per day.

Cheers to all!

Hi Shannon,

I totally agree with you. We need to do a lot of exercise and also eat proper food.

Thumbs up and keep it up! Cheers
