A few weeks ago, I was interviewed by ZB Comma, a local Chinese paper. ZB Comma has a circulation of 70,000 in secondary schools and it is also distributed as part of its parent paper, Lianhe Zaobao which has a circulation of 200,000. The interview is out in this week’s edition
! This is my second media feature, with the first being My Paper a month back ![]()
For those who don’t know Chinese, here are the key points of the article:
- The first page shares my story of how I came to pursue my passion, from university, to corporate, and finally to quitting my corporate job. It also covered my family background and my gratitude towards them for their support.
- The second page talks about my personal development business, how I started it in Dec ’08 and what I’m doing right now. I also shared my excitement on receiving my passion paycheck and my 5-year BHAG (big hairy audacious goal) of setting a life development school.
- The right column on the second page covers 3 simple steps from me on how to turn your room into an inspirational haven
- The bottom row on the second page covers some of the barriers I faced when pursuing my passion (such as others’ perceptions of my expertise due to my age, monetary limitations) and how I overcame them
Thanks Xiaoling for the lovely feature!
