  • Elton

My biggest accomplishments this year is to able to overcome certain life difficulty, as in previous 3 years of business, I have used to do things alone without able to share how to overcome them such as focusness issue brought by a friend, having multiple stress and still stayed alive and celebrate Christmas (:) and awarded international E-coach by known body which is starting to opening more doors possibly in 2013.

At this stage, I am striving on delivering more results with same amount of 24 hours. Previously, I was easily distracted but after working with few fast moving partners with focus, gradual improvement can be seen although have spend least the last 1 full month of 15 hours daily to build concentration and focus to make it a habit.

I have made a promise that if I am able to achieve major activities in 2013, I will be taking at least 1 month off for holiday (the more months, the happier I will be) and catching up with people that supported my journey since I started my business for the 3 years (which some of friends staying in different parts of the world) and no more financial stress worries on my end. So, this is an ccountability that I wish to share with the rest here to ensure I am on track to account for my goals.

This year I would have to search for a great accomplishment. It has been really tough and I honestly don’t have a lot of positive moments to show for it. I would say first off the biggest thing is that I am still here. Though everything with the divorce, personal issues, the battle to keep my sanity… everything I am still here and fine with what has happened in my life. It’s weird to say that paying bills on time would be an accomplishment, but that is what I have done this year. I grew up a lot, and that should be marked.

  • JadePenguin

Actually, managing to stay in England and alive is quite the accomplishment! I had to beg, borrow, bug some people, work, beg some more, bug some more people but for now I’m financially settled til the end of this academic year :)

Ending my first year with an average of 70 (70+ is considered 1st class here in the UK) while not missing out on social activities and activism :)

Giving a talk about resource-based economy at a society event (got quite a positive response, too!)

Getting over my ex in just a few weeks while not wanting to jump in the lake. It’s a significant improvement over my previous bad breakup!

Getting involved with lots of groups instead of just watching what they’re doing!

Ooh, almost forgot – becoming pescetarian and more or less sticking to it. Now going vegan and so far so good :)

  • http://www.valeriepriester.com Valerie

Stepping out on faith and hiring a coach to help me move my business to the next level. Stepping out on faith and signing up for a fitness boot camp to kick the new year off right and regain my healthy lifestyle.

  • Ken

I think picking up the pieces of my new life at home. I purged a lot of stuff from the house that reminded me of my ex-wife. It was a huge form of cleansing especially in the bedroom. Even though it was 6 years ago she cheated on me, and my ex still says I need to get over it, getting rid of the bed, the bedroom furniture, etc was the cleansing that I needed to do.

I found some what of a normal routine now at home. Not quite 100 percent set, but it’s getting there. My mom has been really worried about me and being alone, but that will never change as I will always be mom’s little baby.

I’m going to add one more to this because I think it’s big for me. But I think I’m doing much better with my self esteem. I’m pretty happy with how far I have come. For those of you did the 30 day challenges I have always had low esteem but I feel I made some steps forward.

  • http://non Sandra

Really, there are no much for me these year.

  • http://lifemosaique.wordpress.com/ Lina

-sat and passed with grade A a Cambridge Advanced Exam
    -passed all my final exams
-got into the college of my choice
-finally cleared up my spiritual/religious beliefs
-slightly increased my self-confidence (it doesn’t come overnight but I’m working at it everyday)

    • Helen

An A at CAE is a really incredible achievement and so difficult to get – you must have worked incredibly hard at this. Well done :) .

I’m also impressed that you’re happy with your spirtual/religious beliefs. That’s definitely not something you can be okay with overnight.

      Good work!

      • http://lifemosaique.wordpress.com/ Lina

        Thank you!

Well, it definitely took me a lot of time to get to this place of being OK from a spiritual point of view. It takes a lot of thinking, reading and going through your own and also others’ experiences.

  • Karen

My biggest accomplishment was surviving xmas after my miscarriage. I played with my 3 yr old nephew & 1.5 yr old niece last night & didn’t cry. I played with my 3 yr old niece tonight and almost broke down when she looked up at me and asked “Aunt Karen, can you help me put on my princess dress?” Then, as she held my shoulders while I was kneeling in front of her, my heart felt sonething that I can’t define – love for someone so innocent – and I guess my tears are rolling down my cheek now as I write this.

    • http://lifemosaique.wordpress.com/ Lina

It’s really sad what happened to you, no woman should ever experience this, yet it happens. Hope things will get better for you and that one day you’ll have your own little princess :) (or prince!)

      • Karen

Lina, thank you so much for your kind words of support! It means a lot right now.

    • Helen

I’m so sorry Karen – what an awful thing to experience. Stay strong and know that 2013 will be better.

  • Rebecca Tan

    I believe, there’s quite a few…

Managed to step out and volunteer is definitely one.
Staying overseas for 5 weeks, is a great deal for me and that period of time.
Learning so much more out of the school curriculum, from past and present experiences
Finally knew why I am quiet when I just meet new people. I am actually observing one’s moves, speech, likes and dislikes.
Knew that it doesn’t mattered to be judge, because, you don’t have to please everyone in the world.
Having more inner thoughts to better myself
    Being more forgiving to myself
More time to myself to what I really want
    Staying humble at all times
And just being me, with who I am and loving myself.

    :)

  • Harshad

I was able to get rid of my car loan much earlier than I expected by setting aside some extra money and then paying it to the bank to close the account. Though I feel happy about it, I have already lost quite huge amount of money as interest.

    My greatest accomplishments in 2012:
    1. I Co-founded and registered an NGO [Pinnacle of Life Foundation], while in my final year in the University

I’m very proud to achieve these. But I hope the good Lord has more than these for the ensuing year.

    • sunshinegirl

      congrats!

  • Hass

Would not call it a very successful year but maybe a satisfying year..
i learnt to say no to emotional blackmail, say no to my friends, say no to my friens..
i was the kind where i would nod and say ok to anything coz i know that if i put my heart into stuff accomplishment will not be far away..

that confidence drove my life crazy for the past year.. I accepted too many challenges that I could in a perfect world do but unfortunately things dont always happen the way way we plan them so these challenges backfired on me.. i never knew how to say NO!!! , I CAN’T!! I WONT!! I DONT WANT TO DO IT!! :/
People started to use this and burdened me with so much I was frustated when i got home from worked.. had to fail a few exams . dissapointed loved ones in order to keep the uncaring ones happy..
ultimately I had the courage to say to several things and I quit my job..
lesson learnt to last a lifetime.. :)

so happy with my peaceful life.. I chose a lovely career building job, not justa job , itz a proffesion where I could influence the lives of Young people with my life experiences..
I am loving it here but I am glad that I have learnt my lesson really well and not committing them again here..
found a lot of passionate, loving young people who have started looking at life in a different perspective because of my intereference.. they are happy about it so am I..

more than ever I am happy as a person could be.. :)

    I AM STRONG.. :)

    • Helen

      Awesome Hass! :D

        thanks Helen.. :)
