no, its really 10,000 days to be a master
that’s why all masters are old and why I don’t believe in 20 year old black belts who claim to have founded x x martial arts

Probably 1,000 hours and 10,000 hours not days.
Starting 10 years old and practisin (10,000 days = 30 years) you have black belt after 40 years old :wink:

This is very true. The world-famous German violin player Anne-Sophie Mutter, who is often advertised as a child-prodigy, said “Natural talent only brings you so far. At a certain point, you HAVE to start practicing for 6 hours a day if you want to make progress”.

there is a saying in the karate that i practise:

train 1,000 days a beginner
train 10,000 days a master
